TRD designed and engineered to enhance the driving characteristics of your SCION. Constructed form 1026 Cold Drawn Steel, this 22mm bar is powder coated in the traditional TRD Red. Bar installs in less than 10 minutes with no drilling required. Note: TRD recommends using this sway bar in conjunction with the TRD 18" wheel and/or lowering springs. The six-piston opposed fixed caliper design is optimized specifically for the vehicle and allows use of larger brake pads with greater pad volume, while the differential caliper piston bore size applies greater clamping force to the trailing end of the brake pad to maintain even wear. The optimized design also helps maintain or improve braking torque distribution between the front and rear axles and achieves shorter braking distances. A patented, directional AeroRotor internal cooling vane design induces greater airflow to cool the rotors, providing consistent performance in repeated or heavy duty braking. The application-specific, one-piece rotor design features e-coated non-friction surfaces, maximizing corrosion resistance and ensuring durability under the harshest conditions, while reducing maintenance requirements and simplifying service.
